About

An independent technology company with a skull for a mascot.

Skull Solutions works across software, systems, infrastructure and security. We take on everyday technology problems and complicated engineering work, and we think a business deserves someone who can handle both.

What we are

Practical technology. Serious engineering.

We are a small, engineering-driven company. The same people set up a restaurant's guest Wi-Fi, review an AI-built application before it goes live, and design the API behind a product. That range is deliberate: real problems rarely stay inside one layer, and it helps to have someone who can see all of them.

We are independent. We are not tied to one vendor, and we would rather recommend the cheaper tool that does the job than the expensive one that looks better on an invoice.

And yes, the mascot is a skull. The visual identity can be playful. The engineering is not.

How we operate

What we hold ourselves to.

  1. Small jobs stay small.

An Office install does not need a discovery workshop. A platform build does. The process fits the job.

  2. We say what it actually needs.

Sometimes that is less than you asked for, or a cheaper tool than the one you had in mind.

  3. You talk to the people doing the work.

No account managers between you and the person configuring your network or writing your code.

  4. Handover is part of the job.

We document what we set up and explain it, so the system is yours and not a mystery.

  5. Security is not a separate afterthought.

It is considered when we set up a router and when we design an API, not bolted on later.

The people

Who you'll be talking to.

No account managers. The founders are the people doing the work.

  • Mohamed Zaam

    Co-founder, Technical Lead

Comes from building software: web applications, APIs and the systems underneath them.

  • Aiham Mueen

    Co-founder, Operations Lead

Comes from networks: what is actually connected to what, and what is reachable from where.

The Skull family

Same skull, three tempers.

One mascot, drawn the same way across three brands. The family resemblance is in the linework; each one has its own job.

  • Skull Solutions

    The parent company.

Builds and supports technology: IT services, engineering, infrastructure, consulting and security.

  • SkullSploit

The offensive-security arm of Skull Solutions.

Breaks technology to find out what is wrong with it: manual penetration testing of web applications and APIs. It does not write the fixes for what it finds; that engineering happens at Skull Solutions.

  • SkullEdu

The education product in the Skull family.

Teaches technology: courses, online learning and instructor-led technical education, taught by people who do the work.

Technical range

From the ONT to distributed systems.

The same people configure routers and design APIs. That range is the point: most real problems cross more than one layer, and someone has to see all of them.
