Consulting · AI-built software

Built it with AI and now you're wondering what exactly you built?

We can inspect the system, find the problems, and help you turn the prototype into something you can actually operate.

Assessment required

No judgement

AI tools are a fast way to build. They are not a reviewer.

Getting something working quickly is a real achievement. The code a model writes can run perfectly and still leave the database open, the secrets in the repository or every user able to read every other user's data. That is what a review is for.

Who it's for

  • Founders who built a product with AI coding tools
  • Businesses running an internal tool nobody fully understands
  • Teams about to put a prototype in front of real users
  • Anyone who inherited a codebase written at speed

What we look at

The whole system, not just the code.

  1. Architecture

How the pieces fit, and whether they will keep fitting.

  2. Code

Readability, duplication, dead ends and the parts that will hurt to change.

  3. Security

Secrets in the code, injection, unsafe defaults.

  4. Authentication & authorisation

Whether users can only reach what they should.

  5. Database

Schema, queries, migrations and data that could be lost.

  6. Infrastructure & deployment

Where it runs, how it ships, what happens when it falls over.

  7. Performance

What gets slow first when real users arrive.

  8. Maintainability

Whether someone other than the AI can work on it next month.

  9. Production-readiness

Backups, logging, monitoring and error handling.

You get a plain-language report of what we found, what matters most, and what to fix next — and, if you want, we can do the fixing.

How a review runs

From “what did we build?” to a list of what to fix.

  1. Tell us what it is

What it does, who uses it, where it runs, and what is worrying you about it.

  2. Give us access

Read access to the code, and to the hosting and database where they matter. Nothing is changed without asking.

  3. We review it

Architecture, code, security, data and deployment, checked against what it needs to do in production.

  4. You get the report

What we found, what matters most, and what to fix first, written for whoever has to act on it.

  5. Fix it, or we do

Take the report to your own developers, or have us do the work as a separate engagement.
